Explanation: Ancient Egyptians used Geometry as well as arithmetic to develop their duties as civil managers. It's clearly seen that they used geometrical shapes on their holy landscapes such as Pyramids, Temples, and obelisks.

In addition, they used this branch of mathematics to measure distances. especially on the land survey at the Nile fields, after floods, in order to define their limits.  However, their methods to calculate areas were not exact at all, especially on shapes other than rectangles.
