Write five similarities and five differences if aristotle's and berlos model of communication

Aristotle didn’t really have a communication model. Berlo attributes a model to him that is rooted in Aristotle’s Rhetoric and probably his Poetics (his two books on communication).

Aristotle long predates Shannon, but Berlo’s depiction can be regarded as a simplification of the Shannon (or Shannon and Weaver) model, which is itself a simplification of Bell’s drawings, some seventy years earlier of a telephone for his patents. It is recreated in this drawing, in which it should be noted that the “medium” is everything between the information source and the destination and the channel is the tiny empty box in the middle.

Both Shannon’s model and Berlo’s Aristotelian model (it’s really Berlos’s model) are what is generally referred to as a linear or injection model of communication. Berl’s model is broadly useful in talking about natural media like Face-to-Face communication, but can be applied to any medium of communication so long as speech can be writing or behavior and the connecting lines can be regarded as a generalized medium of communication. Shannon’s model (Weaver co-wrote the paper than popularized it abstracts a telephone to it’s fundamental components, thus allowing him to describe information theory, a mathematical theory of communication that is used in the design and optimization of virtually all artificial media.
