What did house slaves have to do that enslaved field hands did not have to do?

The house slaves have to live with their masters in the same house. They have to dress in the same manner as their masters (many of these clothes were hand-me-downs from their masters) and eat their masters' leftover. They were also not required to rise up as early as the field hands did.
