No, I don't think it is necessary to make all information public.

Explanation:

For general guidelines, information that contain sensitive information about people's private/personal life should never be made public unless the people choose to do so.. This could include things such as sexual preference, their phone number, their religion, etc.

Information that's should be made public should be the one that needed for government programs or something that is necessary for public interest. Example of this would be Blood types (so the hospital could quickly give you transfusion during emergencies) and Past criminal activities

For companies, i beleive their financial statement should also be made public in order to give full transparency over all of their operations. This way, the government can hold them accountable to pay fair amount of taxes and punish them in case they did something that damage the environment.
