Both the Trail of Tears and Manifest Destiny has similarities as it encouraged settlers to expand their settlement. Manifest Destiny was the plan to spread America hold from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.

The Trail of Tears was about forcing Native Americans to move westward, which ultimately would expand land for settlers for settlement, farming, etc.  The Native Americans travelled through harsh weather and died throughout the journey.

    these listed disputes often resulted in casualties from all sides. riots, wars, imprisonment, and lynching are all commonly associated with racial conflict on severe levels.
