Most of my favorites have been mentioned already. I just want to gather some in one place. My top 3 instrumental TV show themes of all time:

Seems to me that TV show themes that were SONGS, ie that had lyrics, are a separate category. I’d mention:

And maybe another separate category for “novelty” themes:

There’s no good reason to separate them from the “songs” category, but for some reason they feel different. Maybe because they’re kids shows? The Batman & Spider-man songs are insanely catchy. Once you hear them you never forget them; indeed it can be hard to get them out of your head. But I don’t think they’re quite as great musically as the ones I mention above. Yet I do think they are great; just in a different way, somehow.

Honorable mentions, for great instrumental themes that don’t quite unseat the top 3 but don’t deserve to be forgotten either:
