R these items are used near bodies of water. The hook is used to fish, the canoe paddle is used to row a canoe, and the basket could be used to carry fish and other goods.

R the tree stumps, the totem carving, the cedar plank huts, and the paddle are made of wood. there is fur clothing and animal bones that all come from animals.  The seeds come from seeded crops. the stone was used to make the tools and the paintings. and the metal was used for the hook

C people settled in because of the number of different resources.

E Using the artifact grid, you can see the number of items the people used to make out of the resources around them.

R Therefore, the people who settled there used the natural resources to settle down.

C the civilization who lived here ran out of wood to use

E in the northwest area there is almost a full forest of cutdown trees.

R due to the civilization running out of wood, they had to either migrate somewhere or die off.
