I know it's a little late ,but I wanted to explain so the figurative language in this sentence is "She looked down at her legs, tall trees shaking in the wind". This is correct because it's comparing her legs to trees. Figurative language is where you compare two things without using like or as. If it uses like or as it's a simile.
