Sports cars should be illegal. The whole point of a sports car is to look fast and powerful. It is very difficult to maintain the image of speed and power without demonstrating the presence of speed and power. People drive sports cars to bolster their image. Sooner or later, they are going to rev their engines and push the pedal to the floor. Most of them are going to do it on public roads and many of them are going to hit something or someone because they cannot stop soon enough or because they lose control and go out of their lane or off the road.
