The ideas of the Chinese and Russian revolutions similar are similar in that numerous groups of people in both countries were fighting conditions and new political systems.  

They were different in that their conditions had their peculiarities although on the surface could have been similar.

In China, nationalist revolutionary leader Sun Yixian tried to establish a type of living that seemed that the ones of the western culture, including establishing a democratic government.

In the case of the Russian Revolution, the idea was to create a more egalitarian society based on the ideas of socialist thinker Karl Marx.

In China, farmers supported the Communist  Party, and the nationalists were forced to retire to Taiwan.

Finally, they ended up having a Communist system that transformed into dictatorships. In Russia, led by General Joseph Stalin. In China, led by absolutists Mao Zedong.
