The principle of the Constitution was a conservative reaction to the Revolution and an enshrinement of revolutionary principles. People moved to the new world looking for independence to begin with. They had thoughts of liberty and human rights already within them. From the Revolution, this showed these ideas with formed the principles of the Constitution. There were steps from the ideas to becoming the real thing.

the united states has a federal government. the president is the head of the federal government of the united states. however, each state forms its government for administration purposes. the powers of the state governments are exercised within restricted state boundaries. and citizens participate in this government by voting.
