PLZ HELP ME!! What do you think can be done about the crime situation in America? Where
would you begin to solve our problems? This is a very big question, but we would
like you to give it serious thought. What do you think are the most important
places to begin battling this tremendous problem?

I would concentrate on white collar crime and political corruption first and foremost. Instead of portraying our laws to that of a dog without teeth, these crimes are against all American people and the sentencing should be very severe. All governments work for the people and should be accountable to them. The funds that are being stolen could, and should, be used to help the down trodden, get back on their feet. Crime will start deteriorating, when we quit sending people to prison for minor infractions. With the pandemic upon us and our country being so political divided, and the overwhelming corruption inside our city, county, state, federal government, and media, it's going to be a long uphill battle, but, one that's worth the fight.

first, the romans stayed isolated because they had to defend their own territories from neighboring cities that were harassing them, like the etruscans. second, once the romans managed to defeat their neighbors, and started to expand their territory, they started to build roads and bridges. finally, now that the romans have covered their territory with roads functioning as highways, they could mobilize their legions faster to assemble larger military units in a specific place.

world war i had a devastating effect on german-americans and their cultural heritage. up until that point   german-americans, as a group, had been spared much of the discrimination, abuse, rejection, collective mistrust experienced by so many different racial and ethnic groups in the history of the united states. indeed, over the years, they had been viewed as a well integrated and esteemed part of american society. all of this change with the outbreak of war.
