Sampling is necessary to avoid running the census. Data can be very expensive, running between a couple of cents and tenths of dollars a survey. Imagine running a survey for millions in the population... Can't afford it. So what are the options? Non-Probability Sampling vs Probability Sampling? Having data vs no data? What about bias etc?
