What do you think of MLK’s non-violence approach? I need an Explanation AND DO NOT PLAGIARIZE

Well, I'm going to try my best (sorry if I can't describe this really well) I think they were very effective since violent protests would lead to bad reputation. However, MLK's non violent protests were usually successful even if it did take a long time. They would usually win people over slowly instead of using violence which would make them heard, but in a bad way.
