Rough weather and road conditions present greater problems to than to the drivers of other vehicles

Motorcycles tend to be more hazardous in bad weather conditions than other forms of transportation. Drivers have little protection from sun, rain or snow. Excessive heat or cold can also be hazardous. If you are unable to postpone your trip, there are some measures you can take to reduce the risk. When visibility is poor, slow down, giving yourself plenty of time to stop in case of emergency. Take a short break at least every two or three hours. Finally, try to drive only during the day and get enough sleep at night.
