In which stage of the general adaptation syndrome has the body reached the limits of its ability to adapt to stress, which may result in the development of stress-related diseases?

The stage of the general adaptation syndrome where the body has reached the limit of its abilitt in adapting to stress is called exhaustion. Reaching this stage could result to the development of stress-linked illnesses. These diseases are diabetes, headaches, depression and many more.
