Frogs and humans both have nostrils and eustachian tubes. However, unlike humans, frogs’ nostrils connect to the roof of their mouth, as do their eustachian tubes. What is the function of the eustachian tubes?

What is the function of the glottis? (humans have a similar structure called the epiglottis that does the same job)
