Now, if I have no choice but to go there the immediate first problem would be the language barrier. The second problem would be to have a trade I can use to get some income, enough to be able to eat and have a place where to sleep. See, even in Renaissance times, the main issue for 80% of people was to secure the daily meal and have a place where to sleep without it being infested with rats and lice. Now, if I am born in the 20% that have a regular income things could become interesting.

At any rate, with the technology of the times the solutions I could apply from my technologies would be very difficult to implement. The best I can do is to try to demonstrate the virtues of hygiene and sterilization.
