Annabelle was involved in a craft activity and needed more scissors for the use. They had just received a new order from a company, so she unwrapped the parcel and put the scissors out. While the scissors were lovely to hold and Reluctantly Sne realised she would not be able to use them and would have to order new ones. She put the new scissors in a box on the top shelf of the cupboard for the educators and staff to use. with, the tips were quite sharp - too sharp for the children to use safely. Later that day, Jackie went to the cupboard and saw the sCissors. She is aware this was a new order and assumed that while they did look sharp, they must be ok they were in the cupboard. Jackie proceeded to put the scissors Out for the child. to use... a) What could have Annabelle have done to better ensure the children's safety? b) What should have Jackie done when she realised the scissors appeared sharp?​
