Recently, the FBI was in a dispute with Apple over whether the company would help the FBI access information on a criminal suspect's iPhone. Apple refused due to the rights of the suspect to expect his information would be kept private. Do you think that Apple was right or wrong to resist the FBI's pressure to break into the phone? Why or why not? Bring in one of the rights protected by the Bill of Rights in your reasoning if you can. What if the suspect was a suspected terrorist, and a bomb was suspected - does that change your answer?
