The slave trade in the Altantico was greatly benefited for several reasons. In principle, Europeans used the labor of the native peoples for work in America, then they saw that this workforce was not resistant to long hours of work and was not useful for certain activities, such as mining, for this reason to start using enslaved people from Africa, these people, were more resistant to the American environment, knew how to work the land and was very useful in the extraction of minerals, such as gold and silver.
