Stereotyping is the oversimplified and prejorative belief or conception of people towards those who has a different experience or an odd one. It is a practice by which someone accepted the information received as fact without question. It is giving or describing someone's characteristics and persona based on the type of group he/she belongs. The common subject of stereotyping are gender, race, color, religion and many others.
