What is the most effective way to voice my position on a civic issues?

There are a couple of different ways to voice your position on a civic issue.  to understand which ways are best, lets define a civic issue.  a civic issue can be defined as a problem that affects the the community.  that being said, you wouldn't necessarily write to the president to complain about the amount of liter in your neighborhood.  so, some ideas on how to get your voice hear in civic issues would include: petition, write letters, write/deliver speeches, protest-- just make sure that what you decide to do steps out (other wise you won't be heard), but stays within the legal limit.  you don't want to do something illegal, to be heard or you won't be taken seriously.  good luck! ~
