The amount of remarriages that happened in united states contributed to the falsehood that almost 50% of marriages in united states ended up in divorce.
A lot of couple that decided to remarry a couple of times contributed to that high number. If the number of divorce only calculated among one-timers, it only reach around 17% of marriages
