The accomplishments and gains of the civil rights movement are below:

1.      It ended the de jure segregation through carrying Americans civil rights legal protection like the of segregation end in institutes, accommodation and the prevention of racial, religious and gender discrimination.

2.      It also gave a bigger self-importance African-Americans when it comes to cultural individuality and they become eligible to vote.

3.      African Americans got a chance to be starred in movie or television shows such as commercials.

4.      One of the happenings of black power movements consists of daycare centers establishment, programs like free mealtime, medical hospitals, homeless aid and many additional services which earned them ghetto support.
