What strategy does the tv use to persuade people

The TV uses advertisements to persuade people into buying stuff that they do not really need. They also use it sometimes to convince people to donate money for an organization by showing sad images that make people upset (i.e. the animal commercials that show sick and abused animals). They also show actors and actresses endorsing products in hopes that you will believe their product is good and buy it.

Well tv uses advertisings to induce people to think that they want or need a certain thing instead of another, or maybe something that you don't really need but they make you think that you need it and you want it. advertisings use a lot of visual stuff so you can remember it better and desire it more.
