The purpose of the legislative branch is to ratifies negotiated treaties checking upon the executive branch and may reject appointments or impeach judges checking upon the judicial branch. the executive branch may veto laws or pass checking upon the legislation and appoint federal judges checking upon the judicial branch.  the purpose of the judical branch is to declares acts of Congress unconstitutional checking upon legislation.
