If you were preparing a pot of chicken soup which of the following organizational structure would tell you how long to cook the soup for? I would tell the functional structure. In a functional structure within organization, each group has their own specific part they specialize in. Since one group would be set in charge with cooking the soup for a specific amount of time, they would be in charge of it being cooked correctly.
