1. The day of the dead really wasnt brought to LA until around the 1970's and 2 people named Ofelia Esparza and Consuelo Flores, and they brought it to LA, to make sure the day of the dead was celebrated in new roots of LA.

3. People decorate things called Altars, and put pictures of their dead loved ones on the flowered altars and offer things like food and drinks to help them in the afterlife.
