In spanish Write a dialogue (conversation) in which two people are meeting for the first time. Make it interesting. Use characters who are from different states or countries and that now live somewhere else.
Focus on using the vocabulary words and phrases from this lesson (See Unit 1 Vocabulary and Key Concepts). Be sure to look at the Spanish-speaking Countries and Nationalities list.
The parts of the dialogue don’t necessarily have to follow the same order as listed in the instructions below, but the sequence will have to make sense.
The characters will do the following:
Greet each other.
Ask each other what their names are and answer accordingly.
Ask each other how they are doing and answer accordingly.
Indicate that they are glad to meet each other.
Ask each other where they are from and answer accordingly.
Ask each other where they now live and answer accordingly.
State their nationality.
Say goodbye to each other.
