He gets it to crash into a wall but posada, who cant see anthing, thinks it was joquin that saved him. Maria then gets punished by posada by sending her off to a private boarding school. After she sadly leaves tham behind Manolo gives her the baby pig. which he names Chuey. Maria then gives him a guitar that was engraved "Always play from the heart" to replace his broken one.
