In this exercise, we use the concept of indirect object pronouns with verbs. An Indirect Object Pronoun is a person that receives the action of a verb indirectly. Its purpose is to tell you to whom or for whom something is done. The Table below shows the different form of these pronouns.

As you can see, me is the indirect object pronoun for the first person singular. On the other hand, since básquetbol is a singular noun, gusta is the conjugation of the verb gustar that matches the mentioned noun. So Marta doesn't like basketball.

As you can see, te is the indirect object pronoun for the second person singular. On the other hand, since fútbol  is a singular noun, gusta is also the conjugation of the verb gustar that matches the mentioned noun. So Antonio asks María if she likes soccer

Here we also use the indirect object pronoun me because María talks about herself, that is, she's talking in First person singular.  So interesa is the conjugation of the verb interesar that matches the singular noun fútbol. In this way, she says that she's not interested in soccer.
