How does kinetic energy affect the stopping distance of a vehicle traveling at 30 mph compared to the same vehicle traveling at 60 mph?

Let Car A :30mph & Car B:60mph
Because carA is travelling at a lower speed, its kinetic energy allows it to stop completely with less distance. As Car B is travelling faster, the kinetic energy it has means that it needs to cover mmore distance to stop completely

In paragraph 47, it says “moments like these make a pioneering flight anything but dull” i’d say he’s optimistic and determined? ? and in 48, it describes how i’m assuming people he looks up to walked the same path so maybe he’s honored to be on the journey ? sorry if i’m wrong.
