So I've started learning Japanese and it's...not exactly hard, but it's interesting. Does anyone have any tips to retain the language?

Japanese is really easy when you understand the basics. For me when I was learning English, it was the hard cause of the grammar. But when I knew the basics, I became fluent and now I'm a advanced English speaker.
