Do you think the catholic church would accept galileo’s defense? why or why not?

I don't think so the church was not going to list to anyone they only followed the church so to them all of that science stuff was a bunch of bull. And if they did want to believe in it I don't think that they would tell cause the other church people would treat them the same as Galileo!
