Which describes the difference between a simile and a metaphor? A simile tells how things are the same while a metaphor tells how things are different.
A simile is only used in prose while a metaphor is only used in poetry.
A simile uses like or as while metaphor acts is if one thing is something else.
Both similes and metaphors compare objects.
