(b) he is stronger than many of the other boys, which makes him an outcast. (c) mowgli is a rebel at heart and doesn't really belong anywhere. he will be much happier on his own. ( d) mowgli is a man but has grown up according to the rules and customs of the jungle; while he is a man, he does not understand the laws of man. mowgli does not fit within either society.
