Why did people put jesus on the cross? did he sin?

Jesus was arrested and tried by the Sanhedrin, and then sentenced by Pontius Pilate to be scourged, and finally crucified by the Romans.

Jesus didn't sin. He's God's son.

Jesus died on the cross cause God sent him to die on the cross for OUR sins.

You see, when God made the world, it use to be perfect before Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan and sinned. Since then, the world waxed worse and worse.

So, since God loved is so much, He sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins.

You see, God made this place called Heaven, a place where people after they die go if the accepted his son Jesus into their hearts, and he made a place called Hell, a place where people after they die go if they didn't accept Jesus into their heart and believe in him.

So, God gave us a choice, a choice to believe and accept his son into our hearts, or not to. Hell is not a great place. Heaven is.

And then Jesus was put on trial with another man who ACTUALLY SINNED, and the people wanted the other man to go free and hang Jesus, an innocent man, on the cross.
