Explain ONE way in which struggles for democracy in China are similar to the struggles for democracy in South Africa. One way in which the struggles for democracy in China are similar to the struggles in South Africa is that both governments suppressed the advancement of democracy. For example, in the Tiananmen Square incident students were protesting for democracy and as a result the government was against this movement, similarly in South Africa the apartheid legalized segregation between black and white people and because of that black people in South Africa protested against the government.

Im not asking for much. All I need is how all of this was important.
