What kind of balance did edward weston use in the photograph shell, 1927?

If i'm looking at the right one where it is a nautilus shell turned side ways (where you can see the coil) then this would be considered asymmetrical balance because it isn't the same on both sides, but it creates a unity in the photo! hope this helps!
