Should I include a fight scene yet or is chapter 5 too soon?

I think chapter 5 is a bit too soon.

Explanation: having a fight on the first few chapters would be weird. Try adding a fight scene on chapter 9, 10 or others. on the first few chapters try to introduce the characters, add characters but dont kill them off. try to bring the plot out more or make the first few chapters peaceful before the action kicks in( see what i did there).

It depends on how long your book is.

But, I think it's totally fine if you feel comfortable with it.

Having an early fight scene gives the reader a taste of how intense the book can be. Maybe not describe the fight too well, and when you get to greater fights later, describe with the highest vocabulary, sensory language, Show-Not-Tell things.

Also, try vocabulary.com! I use it for my works. It's also best to type on a computer, so you can open a new tab and search something if you need to.
