I cannot find a "lavender current"? Did you possibly mean Labrador Current? If so, here's your The Labrador current starts south of Greenland and moves along side the North East edge of North America until it meets the Gulf Current, which is a few hundred miles south of Newfoundland. Sometimes the Labrador current goes as far south as Bermuda or as far east as the Azores.
