If a plant has a high concentration of minerals inside its root cells, but does not have enough energy for active transport, what could happen to the minerals? Question Progra
A. The plant cells would lock and not let anything in or out.
B. They would be drained from the plant through diffusion into the lower concentration outside the root.
C. Nothing, they would stay where they are.
