WILLL GIVE BRAINLEST
Head sore, eyes burning, and ear pounding and pounding and pounding, Kasem still fights through the smoke. The explosion rocked Kasem's sense of direction and location. "Help!" he screams out into the thick haze that envelops him like an oversized blanket.
Kasem stumbles several yards and finally sees a window. The window! The window is open and Kasem notices the smoke pouring out of the blessed opening. Freedom! Kasem vaults himself forward and falls through this blessed opening. A bush a few feet below the window breaks his fall.
Kasem manages to stand and brush himself off. A figure, hazy and distorted, runs to him. "It must be a firefighter," Kasem thinks before passing out on the debris-littered yard.
