What is the difference between a hydrogen bond and a covalent bond?
A Covalent bonds are when atoms share electrons while hydrogen bonds have lost or stolen electrons
B Covalent bonds are between two ATOMS while hydrogen bonds are between two MOLECULES
C Hydrogen bonds are when atoms share electrons while covalent bonds have lost or stolen electrons
D Hydrogen bonds are between two ATOMS while covalent are between two MOLECULES
"You use your entire body weight worth of ATP for energy EACH day!"
How can this be true when you don't eat your body weight worth of food each day?
A Lysosomes digest the used up ATP so it can be reused continually
B ATP is "recycled" each use by using energy from food to attach a phosphate back on making ADP
C Fats and phospholipids use enzymes to turn ATP into ADP
D Energy from food is used to attach a "P" group back onto the ADP so it is usable again
What concept is demonstrated by the "lock and key" model?
A Membranes will "lock" up food/water until the right "key" allows it out
B That the shape or proteins and substrates is specific and essential to protein function
C How only certain information is "unlocked" in the nucleus
D The method by which ions are transported through the "door" of the membrane
