In the winter, salt is sometimes spread over icy roads. In the spring, after the ice has melted, grass often dies near these roads. What causes this to happen?

Which result in loss of water in the cell and this make the cell not to be able to perform it's functions because of loss of water and hence because water us essential for it and it is lost, grasses dies.

well first you need the sample of the temperature and gas level. i couldnt write a hypothesis unless i had some data. i think temperature changes will effect volumes of gas because gas changed into a solid or liquid at specific temperatures.
