A chromosome is a threadlike structure made up of nucleic acids and protein found in the nucleus of most living cells, and it carries the genetic information of that organism in the form of genes.

The fundamental importance is that the chromosome contains the DNA which is necessary for the production of amino acids which in turn produce the proteins that help in the metabolic fuctions of our body, and for passing on genetic information to the next generation.

the monocytes or macrophages of agranulocytes , dendritic cells which are accessory leucocytes, and b cells which is one type of lymphocytes   identify the antigens present on the pathogen's surface. these three cells are called antigen presenting cells(apc) which are phagocytes and destroy the antigens by secreting antitoxins. besides this leukocyte is always plays vital role in the immunity of the body.
