An ecosystem is comprised of biotic and abiotic factors. The biotic factors are living things that influence an ecosystem such as humans, animals, plants, bacteria and fungi. The abiotic factors are all the non-living elements which impact the ecosystem such as water availability and quality, sunlight, weather, soil conditions, and air quality. What abiotic aspects of an ecosystem can be affected by the biotic aspects?
