Assignment: Energy Consumption Journal Exploration In this module-long assignment, you will make several journal entries about your personal energy
consumption. As you explore the different energy resources, think about how each one affects
your daily life. For each type of resource, give a brief explanation of the benefits and drawbacks
of using that energy source.
Journal Entries (Five total)
Fossil Fuels (oil, coal, and natural gas)
• Nuclear Power
• Wind Power
• Water Power
• Energy Conservation
Each journal entry should be a paragraph in length and should have a proper title. You also need
to include details about how each energy source is consumed in your area and the effects of the
consumption. For the last journal entry, called "Energy Conservation," describe what you can do
to improve your energy usage. Check the rubric to see how you will be graded for this assignment.
