A gas turbine power plant operates on an ideal Brayton cycle. However, instead of releasing the full amount of waste heat to surrounding, this power plant uses some of the exhaust gas and mixes it with the inlet stream (assume the mixing is adiabatic and constant pressure). The plant has an inlet stream of air at 300 K and 0.1 MPa at a mass flowrate of 5 kg/s (state 0). This inlet flow is mixed with 0.2 kg/s of the exhaust gas stream, which is at 750 K and 0.1 MPa. The peak pressure in the plant is 1.1 MPa. The Cv and R of the air is 716 J/kg-K and 287 J/kg-K.
